Nonvolatile RAM
The DEC 3000 AXP implements its nonvolatile RAM (NVR) using the RTC chip,
as described in Section 9.5.2.7. The chip provides fifty bytes of NVR, each byte
occupying bits <7:0> of 50 successive longwords. The SETENV console command
sets the boot flags, boot device, halt action, and keyboard type.
Note
There is no checksum in the NVR.
